Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Manager, Productions and Site Operations at our R&D Technology Center in Reno, Nevada, minutes from the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. Discover more about this area by visiting https://www.visitrenotahoe.com

In this exciting role, you will:

  1. Maintains status on all products in the manufacturing area to ensure they are kept on target per customer’s schedule.
  2. Assists in establishing manufacturing metrics for the mechanical and electrical areas.
  3. Maintains adequate supply of inventory levels.
  4. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  5. Performs audits on various products to ensure mechanical and electrical conformance.
  6. Identifies various training needs for functional areas.
  7. Acts as liaison between manufacturing personnel and engineering.
  8. Ability to perform management level supervision on all site personnel as needed in support role (dotted line).

 

You will bring the following skills and knowledge:

  1. Minimum of six years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of two years in supervisory capacity.
  2. A.S. Degree in Engineering related field or equivalent experience.
  3. Working knowledge of manufacturing assembly process; must have exposure to electronics assembly and be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications as they relate primarily metrology products and related components.
  4. Understanding of products or types of products related to HORIBA sales;
  5. Basic understanding of semiconductor; fabrication processes involved in basic manufacturing (basic component testing processes related to Semiconductor products, leak testing principals, basic electrical technical knowledge).  
  6. Good record keeping, interpersonal and communication skills.
